I am proud to have spent the week with Ken Livingstone on his campaign to be elected Mayor of London on 3 May, getting the message out there to Londoners about Ken's Fare Deal.
The mayoral election on 3 May will be a clear choice for Londoners, between a mayor who will represent and fight for the interests of ordinary Londoners in hard times - a mayor for the 99% - or a mayor driven by his own personal ambition, committed to representing his 1%.
Ken knows what matters to ordinary Londoners, and what matters most whilst so many families are feeling the strain of being hit by a double whammy of squeezed income and increasing living costs. Ken will fight for the interests of the majority now, cutting fares by 7%, saving the average Londoner £1000 over the next four years, which will put an extra £4 in Londoners' pockets every week.
Boris on the other hand is responsible for once again this year raising bus, tube, and train fares above inflation. What's more if re-elected he remains committed to raising fares every year for the next four years. Under his watch bus fares have risen by a whopping 50%. Londoners can't afford Boris.
Whilst out with Ken this week I have witnessed the sense of urgency and passion behind the support for him on the streets. Londoners need a Mayor who will be there when things are tough and when they get even tougher, speaking up for Londoners, putting them first. Ken is in this for Londoners. London needs him.

It only came to a grinding halt when I asked the people involved which route emergency services would use. They hadn't thought of that - at all..
Another Ken "feature" is his well documented hate of cars - yet he happily ran up a massive bill using taxis. This is why he came up with the bendy buses - not because they would help London, but because they would hinder cars. It's taken millions to get rid of that debacle, and you want to suggest we should let this idiot do some more damage? That's almost as bad as getting Tony Blair back in parliament, let alone MP..
As for Ken, the only thing worse than a marxist is a cultural marxist.
For the good of London he must be kept OUT.
Throw him out of Labour.
I'm a dyed in the wool Labour party member. A member for over 20 years. I've never not voted Labour, even tactically. I was my ward secretary for a while. Pounded the pavements calling for a Labour victory, again and again.
Ken Livingstone does not get my vote.
He's a supporter of Qaradawi, the extremist preacher who tells his followers to commit suicide bombing murders of civilians, and says that one day he hopes to punish the Jews, like Hitler did.
He brought Socialist Action trots into his administration
He smeared Peter Tatchell with public money
He appointed cronies to positions of power
He supported candidates running AGAINST Labour
He attacked Labour figures
NO WAY am I voting for Ken Livingstone. He is poison, and he will bring the Labour Party down.
My real question is: when are we going to expel him?
