Ellie grew up in Wimbledon and Tunbridge Wells and studied English and Philosophy at The University of Leeds.

Her short stories and flash fiction have been published online, in print and on Ether Books’ app. Recently her short story 'The Beetle' has been published in Arachne Press' short story collection 'Stations'. She is the Digital Communications Assistant at King's College London.
