Adele Apologises After Fan Is Injured During Her Glasgow Concert

Their injury occurred when a piece of production equipment fell onto them.

Adele took to Twitter to apologise on Friday (25 March) night, when one of the concert-goers at her Glasgow gig was left needing medical attention, after a piece of production equipment fell onto them.

The ‘When We Were Young’ singer was performing at the SSE Hydro Arena when the incident took place, and when the gig ended, she wasted no time in sharing her words on Twitter.

She wrote: “I'm so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It's being investigated to ensure it won't happen again. X.”

In a statement given to the Scottish Daily Record, a spokesperson for the venue says: "The chain belonging to the production came down and hit one person who was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Adele is due to perform one more night at the arena, before taking her show to Birmingham.

The chart-topping star has already performed a string of gigs in London, during which concert-goers saw everything from Adele photobombing selfies to orchestrating engagements.

Later this year, she’ll perform at a whole host of venues around the world, as well as Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage.
