Hipsters of Britain are going to be seriously disappointed this week, as the government is responsible for the least cool thing to happen since your mum started listening to Bon Iver - they’ve started indexing your spending habits.

The Office Of National Statistics has revealed their annual ‘basket of goods’ (that allows experts to track what we’re all spending our money on), and 2017’s update has shown just how mainstream those previously ‘hipster’ purchases have become.
