'Big Brother': Ryan Ruckledge Has A Meltdown As 'Others' Learn Housemates' Identities

'That guy is going to wish I was never in the f***ing place, I swear to God...'

There’s a nasty surprise in store for Ryan Ruckledge in Thursday’s (9 June) ‘Big Brother’, when he discovers a rather unwelcome figure from his past has moved in next door to him.

In the first highlights show of the new series, Ryan was already dealt the blow that he’d not yet reached ‘housemate’ status, and instead, with the rest of the ‘others’ would have to plot and scheme to land a place in the main house.

Things have now taken an unfortunate turn, when he has a meltdown upon learning that Sam Giffen is living just feet away from him.

Upon being shown Sam’s introductory VT, Ryan fumes to his fellow ‘others’: “Oh my god he tried to take two of my exes from me.”

In the clip, Sam describes Ryan’s “obsession” with him and attempts to “be him”, to which he hits back: “Get me into that fucking house now. That guy is going to wish I was never in the fucking place, I swear to God… I am raging.”

However, despite his anger, Ryan decides not to make Sam his next target, while Jayne Connery also chooses not to target Chelsea Singh, who she reveals she fell out with shortly before entering ‘BB’.

Both claim they want Chelsea and Sam to be there when they make it into the main house, with Alex Cannon becoming their next target instead, who it’s revealed will have to face eviction alongside another housemate of his choosing.

We don’t think he has much to worry about, though, as bookies have already named Alex the early favourite to win the whole series.

Find out who he chooses in Thursday’s ‘BB’, kicking off at 10pm on Channel 5.
