Boy Who Refused To Sleep In His Room Gets Incredible Glow-In-The-Dark Ceiling Makeover (And Loves It)

He couldn't stop turning the lights on and off ๐Ÿ™Œ

A four-year-old boy who refused to sleep in his own room was over the moon when a painter turned his ceiling into a glow-in-the-dark night sky.

Benjaminโ€™s dadโ€™s friend, Crispin Young Wilson, was the brains behind the creation, using the painting as a way to tempt the young boy back into his room.

โ€œMy friendโ€™s little boy refused to sleep in his own room,โ€ Crispin told BuzzFeed News. โ€œHe wanted me to come over and paint the room, hoping it will entice his son to sleep in it.โ€

Wilson shared the stages of her creation on Twitter and people canโ€™t get over how great it is.

This is the room as Benjamin knew it before.

And this was it afterwards.

Wilson used glow-in-the-dark paint and stencils to create the scene.

The photo of the finished painting, posted on 20 November, has been retweeted nearly 40,000 times in five days.

Wilson said Benjamin absolutely loved it. Describing the scene of when he saw it for the first time, she tweeted: โ€œHe hasnโ€™t wanted his own room, so heโ€™s gearing up to pitch a fit. They [his parents] turn off the lights, and there are two seconds of tantrum, then a big pause.

โ€œAnd he just gasps and goes: โ€˜WHATโ€™S THAT?โ€™

โ€œHe is stoked. Heโ€™s flipping the lights on and off trying to figure out where the stars go.โ€

So cute.
