‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Viewers Cry 'Fix' After Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer Act Boogie Storm Make Final Over Dancer Jack Higgins

'A disgrace... so obviously a fix.'

Britain’s Got Talent’ viewers have accused the show’s judges of “tactical voting" after Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer act made the finals.

Magician Richard Jones topped the viewers’ vote but it was down to the judges to choose the second finalist out of Boogie Storm and 14-year-old dancer Jack Higgins.

After Simon saved his own golden buzzer act, Amanda did the same, despite heaping praise on Jack following his impressive performance.

After initially going to Alesha Dixon to ask who she was putting through, hosts Ant and Dec then quickly swapped to David Walliams, who had already made it clear how much of a fan he was of Jack.

Unsurprisingly, the ‘Little Britain’ star opted to put the Liverpudlian teenager through, so it was left to Alesha to take it to the public vote.

Despite bagging more viewer votes, many fans were still unhappy that Boogie Storm made it through...

Not everyone agreed though...

Richard Jones and Boogie Nights will now join 100 Voices Of Gospel, Mel & Jamie, Wayne Woodward and Alexandr Magala in Saturday night’s grand finale, with four more and a wildcard act yet to be decided.

‘Britain’s Got Talent’ continues tomorrow at 7.30pm and 9.30pm on ITV.
