'Britain's Got Talent': Past Winners Reunite To Celebrate 10 Series Of 'BGT'

But where were Paul Potts and Susan Boyle?

A plethora of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ stars from years gone by came together for Saturday night’s (29 May) live final to celebrate 10 years of the ITV talent show (or, at least, the end of the 10th series which is basically the same thing, right?).

The 10-minute performance featured a host of past winners and notable contestants showing off what makes ‘BGT’ great, with shadow act Attraction telling the origin story of Diversity, before the dance troupe burst onto the stage.

After performing one of their show-stopping formation dances, they were joined on stage by Britain’s most famous dog act, Ashleigh and Pudsey, who even did a few moves with Diversity, before fellow winner George Sampson took us back to 2008 with a ‘Singing In The Rain’ routine.

The ‘BGT’ tribute also contained a special performance from singing group Collabro and a new trick from illusionist Jamie Raven - but it wouldn’t be ‘BGT’ without a few laughs too, would it?

They came courtesy of Old Men Dancing, who entered an energetic dance battle with Diversity, only for the moment to be stolen by the return of Stavros Flatley, a whopping seven years after the father and son duo first performed on the ‘BGT’ stage.

However, viewers noted that a few ‘BGT’ greats were absent from the line-up, including the show’s first ever winner Paul Potts, and its breakout star, Susan Boyle.

While Paul clarified on Twitter that he’s currently in Ulsan, South Korea for a performance, a spokesperson for Susan has told The Sun: “Susan is busy recording her album at the moment in Glasgow and is totally focused on that.”

Saturday night’s final eventually saw illusionist Richard Jones crowned winner, making him the first ‘BGT’ magician ever to do so, thanks to his emotionally-charged final performance.
