Carol Vorderman looked like she’d taken style tips from Jessica Rabbit at Wednesday night’s Sun Military Awards.
The 56-year-old wowed in a floor length, red sequined, fishtail gown, just like the one worn by her animated doppelganger in the 1988 film, ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’.
The former ‘Countdown’ star was joined at the event, which honours the nation’s war heroes, by Susanna Reid, Ola Jordan, Katie Piper and Joey Essex.
Carol’s uber glam look was a million miles away from her shorts and boots combo she wore in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ jungle earlier this month.
And despite only being back on UK soil for a matter of days, Vorders was showing no sign of jetlag.
However, the morning after the bash, she admitted she was suffering the effects of the long haul flight back from Oz.
“Jetlag (ugh) breakfast in bed (hooray),” she tweeted.
Earlier this month Carol revealed she intends to stay in shape “way into my seventies” and has even admitted she might take it to the next level and become a bodybuilder.
She said: “I want to get very fit. I thought to myself earlier this year, ‘I want to be a bodybuilder’.
“I want to be fit and healthy way into my 70s. I do five or six miles a day, and then go to the gym three times a week with Little Dave, my trainer.”
