Charlotte Tilbury has announced a very royal new edition to her Matte Revolution lipstick line.
The legendary makeup artist-turned-cosmetics mogul has created a lipstick in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest reigning monarch.
Aptly named ‘The Queen’, Tilbury describes it as a “crown-jewel-cerise statement lipstick” with a “rich and rosy” hue.
The hue was inspired by the lipstick shade worn by the Queen in the 2007 ‘Lightness of Being’ portrait by artist and photographer Chris Levine (below).
We reckon Her Majesty would definitely approve of this very patriotic homage.
The Queen lipstick is priced at £23 from charlottetilbury.com
