Dogs Get Married In India With Over 5,000 Wedding Guests

Two loved up canines were wed in holy matrimony last week in Uttar Pradesh, India, and they probably had more guests at the ceremony than most humans.

The bizarre nuptials were performed as part of a Hindu ritual, prompting 5,000 residents of the Kaushambi district to flock to Shagun and Shaguniya's wedding.

Newlywed bitch Shaguniya's owner Jung Bahadur offered a tearful goodbye to his beloved pet, whom he said was "like a daughter".
