Jake Wood’s character has been sorely missed during the last year, but on the 25th, he’ll once again grace Walford with his presence.

At present, the exact details of what brings Max back to the Square are being kept under wraps and we won’t find out why he’s back until the episode airs.
His arrival may spell trouble for some though, as we don’t think he’ll be ready to forgive and forget the Beales - and his own daughter, Lauren… - for watching as he was wrongfully convicted for the murder of Lucy.
After serving time in jail, Max was freed earlier this year, but made the decision not to resume life in Walford straight away.
He did briefly reappear in June, but dashed off before anyone could speak to him.
