Hussain Manawer is a poet from Ilford, Essex, and a mental health advocate who regularly speaks out about his battle with depression.

Speaking at the One Young World summit in Ottawa, Canada, he articulated the internal war that comes with having mental health issues, liking it to a “BlackOps” game.

One Young World is a global movement that hosts an annual Summit to offer a platform for young leaders to network with peers from across the world, sharing ideas to develop solutions to address urgent global issues.
