We didn't see this one coming...

Planning is well underway for Coldplay’s 2016 Glastonbury set, and according to reports, they’ve picked a very special guest to appear with them.

Barry Gibb will reportedly join the British band on stage, to guide them through a medley of Bee Gees hits.

Coldplay will become the first band to headline Glastonbury four times when they take to the iconic Pyramid Stage in June, while fellow headliner Adele will be making her Worthy Farm debut.

Muse are also headlining, and the full line-up announcement is expected in the next few weeks.

This year, the event’s site will be getting a mini makeover, as the John Peel stage, which is the largest enclosed tent area, is moving.

The new map will be released in the weeks leading up to the festival.
