'X Factor' Act Honey G's Drug Revelations Addressed By Simon Cowell

'This is not the first artist who is going to admit to something like that.'

Simon Cowell has responded to ‘X Factor’ hopeful Honey G’s recent comments about her past experiences with drugs.

Over the weekend, the rapper revealed she’d previously been dependent on ecstasy, cocaine and magic mushrooms, telling The Sun: “I have struggled with addiction. I have nothing to hide.”

She later told reporters that she was in favour of the legalisation of marijuana, all of which ‘X Factor’ boss Simon has now addressed.

However, Simon did insist he wouldn’t tolerate drug use on ‘The X Factor’, adding: “If it happens on the show like it’s happened in the past, they’re out.”

Honey G has proved herself to be one of the most controversial acts in ‘X Factor’ history, but despite some fans calling into question whether she was deserving of her spot in the contest, she’s gone six weeks without landing in the bottom two.

It was recently discovered the aspiring rapper has an unlikely connection to human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, after reporters unearthed the fact the two attended the same all-girls grammar school.
