The new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!’ may still be a few months away, but the rumours about who will be part of the line-up are continuing to come in thick and fast.
The latest star said to be entering the jungle is Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s ex-husband, Jean-Bernard.
Reports have claimed the French restaurateur and businessman will be heading Down Under when the 16th series of the ITV reality show kicks off in November.
A source told Now magazine: “He’d really like to become a UK TV personality. When he was with Cheryl he shunned the limelight but now he wants to build up his reputation.
“I’m sure the guys behind ‘I’m A Celebrity’ would love to have him on board and JB may consider that, but there’s also talk of a Piers Morgan-style big interview.”
Cheryl and Jean-Bernard separated in October last year, after tying the knot in secret in July 2014, and are in the process of finalising their divorce.
The former ‘X Factor’ judge has since gone on to start a romance with One Direction star Liam Payne, with Simon Cowell recently hinting the pair are ready to start a family.
Jean-Bernard broke his silence on his split from Cheryl back in May, calling her a “great girl”.
He told The Mirror: “It’s been a tough year, I’m trying to move on. I’ll never think badly of her. She is a great girl.”
