'I'm A Celebrity' Bosses 'Angered' Over Contestants' 'Secret Code'

'It’s like they're starting a war against reality telly.'

‘I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!’ bosses are reportedly furious with this year’s campmates, as it’s been claimed they’ve found a way of communicating with one another without it being picked up by the cameras.

According to the Daily Star, the remaining contestants have grown so close that they are now even able to speak to one another in code.

It’s also thought to have been noted that some celebrities have been sharing private information by making “secret signs” and covering their microphones to speak.

An insider says: “The camp are so close this year that they have almost developed their own code.

“It’s like they really want to win a war against reality telly.”

Almost two weeks into the current series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, and just six celebrity campmates remain, following the departure of Larry Lamb in Thursday’s (1 December) show.

His time in the jungle was marred by his ongoing feud with fellow contestant, ‘Homes Under The Hammer’ host Martin Roberts, but Larry laughed off their rivalry in his exit interview.

He insisted: “All the friction between us was all on the camera... There was nothing unsettled. I’m sure Martin and I would have a wonderful working relationship, but neither of us would choose to live together.”

‘I’m A Celebrity’ continues on Friday (2 December) at the earlier time of 8.30pm on ITV.
