Janet Jackson is reportedly on “best rest” following doctor’s orders, as she nears her due date.
The 50-year-old, who is expecting her first child with her husband Wissam Al Mana, 41, hasn’t made any public appearances since July 2016.
“She’s where all of her doctors are,” a source told Us Weekly, who also said Jackson was on “bed rest”.
The singer confirmed she was starting a family in April 2016 as she cancelled her ‘Unbreakable’ world tour.
“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” she said in a video to her fans.
“I thought it was important that you were the first to know: my husband and I are planning our family.”
In May 2016, Entertainment Tonight confirmed the singer was expecting a baby.
A source, reportedly close to the Jackson family told RadarOnline: “Janet is healthy and she and Wissam are looking forward to becoming parents.”
Jackson married Al Mana, her third husband, in 2012.
