Kanye West loves a bold statement or two, and in his and Kim Kardashian’s new Harper’s Bazaar interview, we are gifted with more than a few Kanyeisms - Is that a word? It is now. - worthy of being carved into stone.
Our personal favourite has to be his bold declaration about Kim’s much-talked naked selfies, which he compares to… Adele’s singing voice.
Yes, in Kanye’s eyes, his wife’s naked body and the ‘Hello’ singer’s ability to hit any note that comes her way are worthy of comparison.
When asked about the vitally important issue of selfie poses, Kim told the mag that her fave pose is a mirror selfie, before Kanye offered his opinion: “I love her nude selfies. Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front.
He then delivered a rather unexpected simile, to back up his point:
“I think it’s important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing.”
It’s a sentence only Kanye would ever utter.
Taylor Swift also gets a mention in the interview, and while it’s not clear when the duo sat down with the mag, we think it’s fair to say the meeting may have taken place in recent weeks, as Kanye’s declares, “I was such a fan of hers”, after being asked what his favourite Taylor song is.
Thanks to their feud with the ‘1989’ creator, the couple have hit headlines numerous times during the past month.
However, things got better for Kanye earlier this week, when MTV revealed the 2016 VMAs nominations, which included 2 nods for his controversial ‘Famous’ video.
