A boy has been arrested following the sexual assault of two six-year-old girls at Legoland, Windsor.
The victims were touched inappropriately at the Castaway Camp in Pirate Shores between about 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Thursday, August 11.
Thames Valley Police said a boy, whose age was not given, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the crime.
The boy has been released on bail until December 2.
Police launched an appeal on the BBC’s Crimewatch programme in September in a bid to catch the attacker.
One of the mothers told the programme: “I wasn’t concerned about them being in there, I was concerned with one of them running out and getting lost... You just wouldn’t even think that there was another adult in there.”
A reconstruction of the incident was broadcast on BBC One, followed by the police appeal.
Police said that the public’s help is still sought in the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information about the offences is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 705 (12/08).
