The star was found dead in her hotel room in Lima, Peru on Tuesday (15 November).
Lisa was staying in the South American country while she travelled as part of her modelling career.
Her spokesperson confirmed the news of her death to E! News, stating: “As to her husband and family’s wishes, we hope that the industry can mourn her death without details.
“In these darkening days, we hope those who have had the pleasure of knowing her will see how brightly she shined and will find that light within themselves and continue to share it with others just as she would have.”
Lisa’s friends and family have also set up a GoFundMe page in her honour, to help raise money for transporting her body back home, and her funeral arrangements.
“Our dear friend Lisa Masters passed away tragically and unexpectedly in Lima, Peru on November 15, 2016,” Ani Mason, who created the page on the behalf of Lisa’s husband William Brooks, wrote.
“Lisa’s genuine warmth, generosity and tenacious strength will be deeply missed.”
As well as roles in ‘Law & Order’, ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’, Lisa also starred in ‘Ugly Betty’ and ‘Nashville’. She also appeared in the films ‘The Stepford Wives’ and ‘It’s Complicated’.
