Little Mix already have a reputation for being the four of the fiercest women in pop, so it’s no surprise they had the most perfect response when they were quizzed about Jesy Nelson’s engagement during an interview.
The singer has been the subject of speculation she’s called things off with fiancé Jake Roche, after she unfollowed him on Instagram and was later spotted without her engagement ring.
Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards were asked about the reports in an interview while in Australia - something which they didn’t take too kindly to.
“That’s brutal, that,” Jade remarked.
“I can’t believe you just came out with that,” Perrie added.
It was it this point Jade ripped the reporter’s questions out of his hand, scrunched the piece of paper up, and threw it across the room.
Amazing.
Perrie then upped the sass, adding: “What you going to do without your paper now, eh? Smartarse?”
The Sun had previously reported Jesy and Jake had a “huge barney”, which led to her deleting him from Instagram.
Fans also noted he’d removed a number of snaps of him with Jesy from his account.
The Rixton frontman proposed to Jesy in a very public way last year when he popped the question on stage with a little help from Ed Sheeran.
Ed performed an acoustic version of ‘Tenerife Sea’, which the couple refer to as “their song”, as Jake got down on one knee.
