‘Loose Women’ bosses have announced that they’re welcoming some new members into their ever-growing family, with the arrival of three new permanent panellists.
Former ‘Emmerdale’ star Lisa Riley, who has won viewers over with her guest appearances over the past few months, has now been given a bump up to being a permanent co-host on the show, as have fellow guest hosts Stacey Solomon and Martine McCutcheon.
Already, the trio have all made headlines with their stints on the panel this year, with Lisa discussing her recent weight loss, with her co-presenters admitting they’d had trouble recognising her when she showed up to the studio.
Stacey, meanwhile, recently silenced body-shaming trolls, who criticised her appearance when she was photographed in a bikini.
So far this year, Vicky Pattison has already joined the ‘Loose Women’ team, after making an impression during her time in the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ jungle, while Katie Price also became a permanent fixture at the beginning of the year.
It’s not all about the new arrivals, though, with long-serving panellist Sherrie Hewson saying goodbye to the show on Monday (5 September).
She first announced that she was stepping down from ‘Loose Women’ after 14 years last month, when she told viewers: “I’ve told as much as I’m sure you all want to hear. So I’m going to be leaving ‘Loose Women’ because it’s kind of time, I’ve said everything there is... so I’m leaving this seat so somebody else now can sit on this seat for 14 years and tell all their stories!”
