Louis Walsh Slams One Direction: ‘Simon Cowell Created Monsters’

'They think they're all going to be solo stars. They're not.'

One Direction may be the most successful act in ‘X Factor’ history, but Louis Walsh has revealed that he’s no fan of the lads.

Since their split hiatus commenced, former members Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have all been working on solo material - none of which have involved them staying with Simon Cowell’s label Syco Records.

We're sure the lads won't lose too much sleep over Louis' comments

Hmmm… We’re no clairvoyants, but perhaps Louis should have waited a little longer before giving his predictions?

Remember back in August when he declared that ‘Strictly’ was a “boring” show that nobody talked about? Y’know, shortly before the BBC show made light work of beating ‘X Factor’ in the ratings war?

While we’re still waiting to see what Big Payno and Louis Tomlinson’s solo careers will involve, Harry has been busy making his mark in the movie business, and recently wrapped filming on Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’.

Niall revealed his debut solo single ‘This Town’ earlier this month, and let’s not forget Zayn Malik, who topped the charts with his debut album ‘Mind Of Mine’ in April.
