The news of Muhammad Ali's death, aged 74, has inspired his fans the world over to remember the great man - sorry, Ali, make that The Greatest - as a supreme fighter, an activist and entertainer.
His various incarnations, his showmanship, his wit, made him the chat show host's dream subject, as Michael Parkinson discovered during the four times he interviewed him for his show.
As we can see from the clips above, Ali's physical being was challenged by Parkinson's Disease, a condition he lived with for more than three decades, but his mind never weakened.
