Drama in the tennis as two famous tennis families failed to progress at the Rio Games on Sunday.

Great Britain’s Andy and Jamie Murray went out in the men’s doubles after losing to Brazil’s unseeded Thomaz Bellucci and Andre Sa.

Meanwhile, Serena and Venus Williams, three-time women’s doubles Olympic champions, crashed out in the women’s doubles to Czech pair Barbora Strycova.

The latter is a genuine shock: the Williams sisters won their first women’s doubles title in 2000 Sydney Games and repeated the feat at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games.
