Perrie Edwards Rocks This Summer's Prettiest Hair Trend

Pink hair, don't care.

Perrie Edwards is no stranger to a major hair transformation, but her latest look is one we can’t stop staring at.

The Little Mix member has switched up her blonde balayage for a new pink ‘do, sharing snaps with her fans on Instagram (using all the pink Emojis because, of course).

London hairdressers Not Another Salon say Edwards’ style has been one of the most requested dye jobs this summer.

It’s so popular, they’ve even coined a new term for it - the ‘blush balayage’.

The salon has been adding another level of depth to clients’ balayage highlights using light pink hues.

To create variation and texture in the hair, stylists at their Brick Lane HQ ensure they have a few different colour bowls at their station.

Using different shades - from pale pastel to daring magenta - they graduate the colour through the length of the hair to add even more life and dimension.

Not Another Salon owner Sophia Hilton puts the popularity down to the style’s low maintenance - with no regrowth to worry about, it’s a hit with summer travellers (or those on busy pop star schedules).

“Stylists have been throwing around the term ‘balayage’ for a while now, but the best thing about it is that the hair stays loooking fresh and fabulous - even as the colour grows out,” she said.

“If done correctly, root growth will enhance the look rather than intrude on it.”

To maintain the condition and length of the hair, like Edward’s long locks, Hilton also advises asking your stylist to add INNOluxe to your dye.

“This will repair, protect and seal health into your hair’s structure whilst the hair is being coloured, ultimately leaving hair feeling stronger, healthier and looking better,” she said.
