Walkers has taken the ‘Choir of Champions’ to the streets of Europe to celebrate its official partnership with the UEFA Champions League®. The undercover choir surprised members of the public ahead of the Round of 16 final match week to help get Europe #GameReady. To build excitement ahead of this week’s games, Walkers took the iconic UEFA Champions League anthem to Europe’s streets – and even skies – in a never before done series of events. Impromptu renditions of the classic tune were performed on buses, streets, in city squares and even by helicopter, with the Choir of Champions out in full force in Madrid, Munich and London, as Europe’s premier club competition moves into its defining stages. To kick-start the day, Gary Lineker, took to the London skies with a fully kitted out helicopter. The chopper flew over the London skyline projecting the iconic anthem to the masses below to start their day with a bang. The chopper then landed at London’s O2 Arena where Londoners were given a live rendition on the ground.
