New research today reveals that nearly a quarter of Brits (24 per cent) most want to share a coffee with national treasure, Stephen Fry. The news comes as the icon recently removed himself from social media channels.Intelligent conversation was revealed as being a key aspect to any good coffee ‘catch-up’ with naturalist David Attenborough taking second place (23 per cent) – also revealed as British women’s preferred coffee partner – and Professor Brian Cox third overall, with 17 per cent of the vote.The study of 2,000 Brits, from UK Coffee Week – which runs 11 – 17 April and involves thousands of coffee shops coming together to raise funds for coffee growing communities through Project Waterfall – also revealed national treasures Dame Judi Dench (15 per cent), J. K. Rowling and Dawn French as the top female icons Brits would most like to have a chinwag with.

An osprey fishing in the Scottish Cairngorms.) - Going in for the kill! This osprey made a splash as he made an impressive swoop down onto a river to catch his prey. The mighty bird set his sights on a tasty fish for his dinner - and after spotting an opportunity he dove down onto the water,scooping up the fish in his sharp talons. The incredible photographs were captured by wildlife photographer Bill Doherty, 61, while he was visiting the River Spey in the Scottish Cairngorms.

Greece sent a first wave of migrants back to Turkey on April 4 under an EU deal that has faced heavy criticism from rights groups.
