Selena Gomez’s selfie game is seriously strong (she is the most-followed person on Instagram, after all), so any insight into her social media secrets is music to our ears.
That’s why we were overjoyed to discover one of the singer’s beauty team had let some slip, revealing exactly how Gomez edits her photos to ensure they look as professional as possible.
Gomez’s makeup artist Hung Vanngo shared the above snaps of the star on his Instagram, alongside the caption “Instagram photo 101”.
“Here is an unedited & edited versions of an Instagram photo,” he wrote, before detailing every single edit that had been made on the app (no FaceTune here).
Instead of using a filter, Vanngo created a custom look by using the following tools: brightness, contrast, warmth, saturation, colour, vignette and sharpen.
Et voilà! A celeb-worthy selfie is born.
