Sharon Osbourne has responded to her daughter Kelly’s recent Twitter outburst, after she tweeted out the phone number of the hairdresser who allegedly had an affair with Ozzy.
After first writing, “anyone looking for cheap chunky LOW-lights a blow out and a blowjob call”, followed by a phone number, Kelly later blasted the woman thought to be responsible for her parents’ split in a string of tweets.
Sharon has now addressed the tweets during an appearance on her US panel show, ‘The Talk’, admitting she finds the whole thing rather amusing.
She told her fellow presenters: “You know what? In cases like this, what can you do but laugh? What are you gonna do - be angry with her because she loves her mum and dad and she wants us to be together? She loves us.
“She can do what she wants, because she's an adult. You have to laugh. She is just so funny.”
Sharon added that she was “always proud” of Kelly for speaking her mind, even when it didn’t make her the most popular person.
Earlier this month, Sharon confirmed reports that she and Ozzy had gone their separate ways, admitting she felt positive about the break-up.
She explained: “I’m doing great. I really, really am. I’m honestly empowered and I have found this inner strength and I’m like, ‘What’s next?’.
Although the couple were pictured together at a press conference shortly after the split was announced, it was later claimed that they were going ahead with a divorce, with Sharon thought to be interviewing lawyers to handle the proceedings.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell has all but confirmed Sharon’s rumoured return to the UK ‘X Factor’, telling The Sun: “I think she and I are going to work on a show together in the UK. We mainly have a love relationship. It is always back to love.”
