'Strictly Come Dancing' Lineup 2016 To Include Bucks Fizz Star Cheryl Baker?

'Strictly Come Dancing' will return in the autumn for its 14th series.

'Strictly Come Dancing' bosses are already planning this year's lineup of toe-tapping celebs, and a new name in the mix is that of Bucks Fizz star Cheryl Baker.

Cheryl has been on the list for consideration several times in the past, according to a source, who told Radio Times that she didn't make the cut in previous years, due to the required balance of high-profile figures from diverse fields to appeal to different generations of viewers.

"Cheryl would love to do Strictly," Radio Times was told by a source who added that the former pop singer had also been considered for 'I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'

Just think, if Cheryl does make it to 'Strictly', we might get a reprise of her Eurovision-winning skirt trick, when The Fizz triumphed in 1981. No one else will get away with doing it while she's on the show, that's for sure.

While the BBC is keeping their wish-list under its hat, other names already in the mix include 'Downton Abbey' star Michelle Dockery, US singing star Anastasia, and 'This Morning' presenter Ruth Langsford. The Sun reported last week that 'One Show' reporter Angelica Bell was the first star to be officially signed up for the new show, which kicks off again in the autumn.
