There’s a lot going on in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this weekend, but pretty much all of it has been eclipsed by the fact that Ed Balls is going to be doing the Charleston.
Yes, the full list of songs that each ‘Strictly’ pair will be dancing to in Saturday’s (1 October) live show has been announced, and the former Labour MP and Katya Jones will be putting on a show to ‘The Banjo’s Back In Town’ by Alma Cogan.
Let’s hope he can muster up a few more points than last week for his effort, which put him at the bottom of the board,
Meanwhile, Daisy Lowe and Aljaž Škorjanec will be hoping to cling to their spot at the top of the leaderboard with more upbeat number, dancing the Cha Cha to Cee-Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’.
Among the artists whose hits will also be given the ‘Strictly’ treatment this weekend are Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and INXS.

- Laura Whitmore & Giovanni Pernice will be dancing the Waltz to ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ by Alicia Keys
- Judge Rinder & Oksana Platero will be dancing the American Smooth to ‘Marvin Gaye’ by Charlie Puth
- Naga Munchetty & Pasha Kovalev will be dancing the Cha Cha to ‘Fool In Love’ by Tina Turner
- Danny Mac & Oti Mabuse will be dancing the Viennese Waltz to ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ by INXS
- Claudia Fragapane & AJ Pritchard will be dancing the Waltz to ‘You Light Up My Life’ by Whitney Houston
