Mum Of Quintuplets Shares Breathtaking Photos: 'My Body Fought Battles To Get Them Here Safely'

Kim Tucci gave birth to a son and four daughters in January 2016.

A mum who gave birth to quintuplets four months ago has shared breathtaking photos of her five babies.

Kim Tucci, 26, from Perth, began documenting her babies' journey on her 'Surprised by Five' Facebook page when she found out she was pregnant.

She gave birth to Keith, Ali, Penelope, Tiffany and Beatrix in January 2016 and has shared the first professional shots of her brood.

The first photo shows the five babies curled up together in a basket with a soft beige blanket.

"My body fought the toughest of battles to get five babies here safely," Tucci wrote when sharing the shot taken by Erin Elizabeth Photography.

"Everything I did, I did for them."

The mum also shared a photo of her quintuplets swaddled in different-coloured wraps with her arms surrounding them.

"A picture speaks a thousand words," she wrote.

Tucci, who also has two daughters (both aged under five) with her husband Vaughn has spoken out about how hard it has been getting used to having seven children.

The couple have to change 350 dirty nappies every week and feed each child eight times a day.

But she said she has managed to pull through, "like any other mum would".

"No-one thought I could do it, and I did, I showed everyone in my life," she told 9News 60 minutes.

"So, I think it's the first time that I've actually been proud of myself."

Tucci gave birth to the quintuplets when she was just 30 weeks pregnant.

Since their arrival, Tucci's grandmother set up a GoFundMe page for the family to help raise money for a nine-seater car,

"They share one car, which is full with two baby seats," she wrote.

"Consequently they have not gone anywhere as a family since they came home, because they can't.

"They are looking to buy a car in Australia big enough to carry their huge family to medical appointments, meetings, school runs, shopping and everywhere else a young family needs to go."

The page has reached nearly $20,000 (£13,800) in three weeks of their $40,000 goal.

Upon seeing the donations Tucci wrote: "WOW! I was in tears today that total strangers would be so generous donating to the GoFundMe page my Grandma set up.

"We are now one step closer to being able to get to medical appointments in one car instead of three!

"You're all amazing."
