Trafalgar Square Actors Carry Out Pretend Killing Ahead Of Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Easter!

Visitors to London’s Trafalgar Square on Friday were treated to the sight of actors pretending to murder a mutilated man.

Dressed in Roman garb, "soldiers" not only hoisted the half-naked, badly beaten victim, but also left him there where he pretended to die.

The 'Passion of Jesus' reenactment has become a staple of Good Friday in the capital in recent years. The "crucifixion" is often followed by an Easter egg hunt for children.
