Four Of Diamonds has become the latest act to leave ‘The X Factor’.

The girlband, who returned to the show last month to replace axed group Brooks Way, were voted off the ITV talent competition during Sunday (6 November) night’s results show, after landing in the bottom three alongside Saara Aalto and Sam Lavery.

The three acts had polled the least number of votes from viewers following their performances during Saturday night’s ‘Girlband vs. Boyband’ themed edition.

A lifeline vote later saved Sam from the sing off, meaning Four Of Diamonds went up against Saara in the final showdown.

After Four Of Diamonds performed Mariah Carey’s ‘When You Believe’ and Saara sang Jessie J’s ‘Who You Are’, it was left to the judges to decide who was sent home.

Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh voted to save their respective acts, while Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell also opted to keep Saara in the competition, meaning it was the end of the road for Four Of Diamonds.

It was the third time the group had landed in the bottom two, and they were controversially saved from the chop last week when the judges chose to send home Gifty Louise instead.

Meanwhile, Sunday’s results show also boasted performances from musical guests Emeli Sandé and Robbie Williams.

The jukebox also revealed the theme for next week will be Disco, with judge Nicole later confirming on ‘The Xtra Factor’ she will perform another show-stopping number at the top of the episode, just as she did during Motown Week.

‘The X Factor’ continues next Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
