Our favourite part of finding out the final 12 on ‘The X Factor’ always used to be the dramatic makeovers they’d receive in time for the live shows.
However, this year, it seems the contestants have got off lightly at the hands of the styling team.
There’s been no drastic haircuts, no uncomfortable outfits, or OTT make-up application - in fact, we’re struggling to see any difference from how the contestants looked before.

Admittedly though, the final 12 all look as pretty as a picture in their makeover snaps that ITV have released, ahead of this weekend’s live shows.
Contestants Matt Terry, Emily Middlemiss, 5 After Midnight, Freddy Parker, Gifty Louise, Relley C, Ryan Lawrie, Saara Aalto, Samantha Laverty and The Brooks all pose up a storm for their first official photoshoot as ‘X Factor’ finalists.
Meanwhile, Bradley and Otavio - now called Bratavio - look as outrageous as ever, while Honey G is continuing to be the self-styled rap queen we’ve come to both love and be highly bemused by.
Viewers saw the judges agonising over which contestants to put through during last weekend’s tense Judges’ Houses episodes.
All of the successful hopefuls will now sing live for the nation for the first time this Saturday (8 October), as the live shows finally get underway.
