As the new hosts of ‘The Xtra Factor’, Matt Edmondson and Rylan Clark-Neal have been working together for a new months now, ahead of the new series, which in the fickle showbiz world is practically a lifetime.

Therefore, the boys should know each other pretty well by now, so we decided to put their knowledge to the test when we caught up with them at the official ‘X Factor’ launch on Thursday (25 August).

The newly-formed TV duo sneaked away from the red carpet for an exclusive Facebook Live interview with The Huffington Post UK, where we put them through their paces in a game of ‘Mr And Mr’.

And it’s fair to say we learnt a lot about them both - more specifically their ability to improvise in the event of an absent theme tune.

During the chat, Rylan and Matt also revealed all about the new series of ‘The Xtra Factor’, which will see the show airing live from the very start of the series.

They also answered some of your questions, before Matt treated us to a sterling recreation of Rylan’s infamous Judges’ Houses meltdown.
