Over the last 8 years Garrett has performed, written, produced and
directed a whopping 8 shows on the Edinburgh Fringe (1 a year). His
work has attracted five star reviews from The Scotsman, Three Weeks,
The Edinburgh Guide, Hairline, Plays International and One4Review.
Over the years he has also received a number of four star reviews that
read like five star reviews, some three star reviews that read like
the reviewer wasn’t paying attention and a two star review from a
website that read like it was written in crayon.

As a freelance writer and director his work ranges from the absurd to
the pointless and includes such credits as... a promo for a new range
of dildos for Anne Summers & Cosmo, three thirty minute shows for
Motor TV about Renault Clios, a documentary film about Ballroom
Dancing being taught to disadvantaged children in Birmingham as a
means of social development and a Hip Hop video for a city trader who
claims to be the ‘Snoop Dogg of the square mile’. Once, Garrett also
wrote a four page proposal for a wedding video in the style of an
‘E-True Hollywood Story Documentary’ for a couple with more money than sense, taste, or self awareness. He wishes this weren’t true but
that’s just life.

He has also written and directed some short films that were pretty
good and had people like Kevin Eldon, David Cann, and Dan Antopolski
in them.

Having performed sketch and character comedy for a number of years as a member of both Guy Incognito, Fergal & The Worm and as a solo
performer at this years fringe Garrett will be performing his debut
hour of stand up 'Sensible Answers to Stupid Questions' at The
Underbelly as well as a character show on PBH's Free Fringe.
