Having managed and owned various businesses, Gemma’s biggest challenge has been the launch of MyFamilyClub.co.uk, the new online go-to place for parents, with a focus on saving them money by making smarter decisions. She secured full funding for the business in the seven figures bracket during a double dip recession from publisher DC Thomson.

Gemma’s background is in digital and internet consultancy, working both with major brands and financial products.

No stranger to setting up her own companies, in 2004 she launched the successful family company, Johnson & Co which offered made-to-measure suits and boasted of high-profile clients including Idris Elba. 2007 she launched the successful Prepaid Mastercard, BaBeeCard aimed at helping pregnant women and mums with young children gain discounts at a range of high street retailers including Sainsbury’s and ASDA. BaBeeCard won a hat trick of awards including Prepaid365.com Award 2011 for Best Online Shopping Card, Best Prepaid Card Design and Best Gifting Prepaid Card.
