It is no secret that we live in a world where the majority of the people in developed countries are unhappy with their physical appearance. Almost every aspect of modern life is dominated by a desire for instant gratification and technology has become a way for us to make everything faster.

Not everybody is confident in the gym and exercising in front of other people Linfords advice is "Try going for brisk walks and swimming or cycling. They're just as good for getting you fit and cheaper than the gym. There are exercises you can do at home, such as push-ups and sit-ups. Play with your kids or grandchildren. Jumping around like that keeps you going. Exercise with your partner and train towards something even if there are no parks or gardens where you live everyones got a little space, you can put in a trampette. They're fun and really get the heart rate up."
Harley Street's Doctor Gupta who has featured on Channel 4 Embarrassing bodies says about Microlipo "there is next to no recovery time. As a former International athlete and qualified Sports Scientist I understand the benefits of exercise on the body, such as a stronger immune system, increased oxygen flowing in your brain and body, and a less stressed body. Exercise can also affect you emotionally and psychologically, and can even improve your relationships and career goals. And of course the harder you train the faster you race. I also understand that science and medicine is improving everyday. Doctor Gupta says "even after the surgery you will need to do all the sensible things to maintain your new weight and exercise to stay healthy". I've read magazine articles about celebrities being really strict about food. Eating frozen grapes for snacks, drinking vanilla soy. They must be miserable? I can't imagine such a radical change in my diet to get my stomach flattened. Can Lipo be called cheating if I have done everything in my power to control my wobbly bits?
Is wearing makeup cheating? Maybe everyone gets their satisfaction in different ways?
