'RHOBH' Season 5: Recap

This season on the elite world of the privileged housewives of Beverly Hills, there is quite the drama stirring! Between new cast members and an old sibling rivalry, we hardly have time to breathe between one dramatic moment and the next. (And personally, my favorite part of each season are the trips! When these women are forced to be confined in a certain space with each other for prolonged periods of time, it equals... #AllTheDrama)

Warning: There is a lot of gossip, bitching and fighting!

So there are lots of questions about what is to come! My biggest question, though, is always: who is going to be cut this season?

It seems like it's inevitable that everyone is on the chopping block at some point or other, and I always wonder who will be recast for next season. So it seems like all the ladies have good reason to step up their drama.

To be continued ...

Season 5, Ep13: 'Sister Act'

After the blow up at Kyle's gay mixer, the other women speculate about Brandi's influence over Kim. The ladies attend Eileen's movie premiere at a shopping center in the suburbs. Lisa Vanderpump is nervous when her son receives his genealogy test results. As Eileen brings the Richards sisters together to discuss their problems, Lisa Rinna questions Brandi about Kim's recent behavior.

All the women are talking about Brandi's influence over Kim, but personally I think Kim is using Brandi as a buffer or backup. Obviously she is responsible for her own actions; Kim blaming Brandi for her own decisions doesn't help anyone. Kim is an adult woman who can choose to act how she wants. So regardless of how much it seems like Brandi maybe is influencing Kim, Kim is on her own path.

Maybe Kim and Brandi are just more similar than people think. It's easier to blame Brandi than to blame Kim because one is more hurtful. I honestly think that in Brandi's mind, she is being a great friend to Kim. The real issue is that all the women have a problem with Brandi, not with Brandi's influence over Kim.

I don't think the women realize how important Eileen's movie was to her. It's hard to get any kind of movie! It was nice of them all to go and support her. Regardless, the women certainly used it as a chance to expose their true feelings about Brandi.

Lisa Vanderpump looks like her heart drops when Max tells her he has the genealogy results. I honestly think she was speechless. Lisa certainly has had anxiety and a little bit of fear that this would change her relationship with Max. I also think she was relieved that Max thought it was weird and foreign, confirming her status as his mom and filling that role. She is 1000% his mother.

There are also some showbiz rumors about the possibility of Lisa Vanderpump leaving Housewives of Beverly Hills. I'm not sure if it's true! But, after all, she does have her spin-off, Vanderpump Rules, and that seems to be her main priority. So I would think being on the Beverly Hills Housewives would only help her businesses, and not her other show. But then again, you never know -- she could be tired of the limelight, or at least this version of it. Lisa Vanderpump is one of the last original members of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast, so it would be very sad to see her go. The series certainly would not be the same without her.

I was shocked that Eileen took it upon herself to bring the Richards sisters together to discuss their problems. I understand that she just went through such hardship with her own sisters and maybe thought they needed a mediator. Eileen certainly had the right intentions. God bless her soul. Although as the conversation started to get deeper, I don't think Eileen was much help. It's safe to say little to no progress was made.

Also, as a side note: the funniest thing people don't remember is Kim was the one who was the meanest and hated Brandi the most when she joined the cast. They are certainly ironic BFFs.

On the other side of town, Lisa Rinna is having a completely different conversation with Brandi. I think it's finally a chance for Brandi to tell her side of the story and what's really going on with Kim. Kim is the one who needs her. Brandi continues to support Kim as a friend any way that she can or knows how to. Brandi was also able to voice her concerns about Kim and wanting to be there for her in a hard, low place. It seems like Brandi feels responsible for Kim's well-being.

Lisa does bring up some good points about Kim's sobriety and everyone keeping it a secret. I mean she is on a reality show, so it's hard to keep things a secret when you put your world in the spotlight. Brandi tries to be coy and not say much, but also inform everyone of Kim's state of being. The baton has been passed to Lisa R.

Season 5, Ep 14: Spoiler Alert!

I don't want to give too much away for the next episode... but Huff Post readers can expect some great drama from the 90210 wives.

Obviously, this is just the beginning of the drama between Kim, Kyle, Brandi, and whoever else gets in the line of fire. I think this is going to be the main theme of the next episode and maybe even the rest of the season. It seems like the last few seasons have revolved around Brandi and whoever is involved with her situations.

I'm sure the producers will also start slowly unraveling more and more of the new cast members' lives. We still don't know all there is to know about them and their dynamics on the show.
