Heydon Prowse
Heydon Prowse is a campaigning journalist, film-maker and comedian. He writes and makes films for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent and the Evening Standard. The Revolution Will be Televised, which he starred in and co-wrote has just finished its run on BBC3. He has conducted undercover investigations into the BNP, greenwashing charities, the government’s Department of Trade and Industry and payday loans companies. In 2009 during the expenses scandal his secretly filmed footage of MP Aland Duncan complaining that MPs had to live on ‘rations’ resulted in the Tory head of expenses reform being fired. Other Freedom of Information investigations have been featured in The Independent and on Newsnight and Heydon presented the Dispatches Selling of Britain in 2011.
