After taking a year out of education to work for the Democrat Campaign Head Office in Los Angeles during the US Presidential Elections, I am currently studying history and politics at Durham University with a special interest in the modern history and politics of the Middle East. In the last year I have also worked in the Middle East, both as a freelance journalist, and for the Palestine News Network in the West Bank. I have covered stories across the Palestinian territories, travelling to Ramallah, Hebron, Al-Walaja, Jerusalem and other settlements in the West Bank and visiting Palestinian communities with development teams, as well as conferences, public events, and meetings with representatives of government and non-government bodies seeking to bring a peaceful resolution to the Arab-Israeli question.
