James Morris runs the European Office of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, one of the world's premier communications research and consulting firms. The firm uses polling to advise candidates, corporate leaders and NGOs and has helped win national and presidential elections in the US, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia. It also works with top tier companies like Microsoft and Boeing and conducts fieldwork from Haitian refugee camps to Wall Street.

James joined the firm in Sept 2010 after a spell as strategist and speech writer for Ed Miliband’s successful campaign to win the Labour leadership. Previously he has worked in research and strategic roles at Chime Communications, the Institute for Public Policy Research, the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and advertising firm TBWA. He specialises in using research to inform campaigns – whether focussed on elections, issues or corporate reputation. He lives in London.
