The Food Tube family welcomed a very exciting new arrival this week in the shape of the River Cottage channel.

Following a brilliant collaboration between Jamie Oliver and River cottage's Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall during Food Tube's Live Show in October, the bromance will continue on YouTube. Good times.

Take a look back to see the magic happen:

The channel will bring you new, classic and live content from Hugh and the River Cottage gang, launching with familiar faces Pam the Jam and Tim Maddams as well as a very special recipe from Jamie and Hugh.

Jamie has been looking forward to getting Hugh on board and said: "Hugh's a mate as well as a fellow campaigner and ever since he came on our live show last year, I have been encouraging him to have a go himself.

"I can't wait to see what new shows he'll be bringing to Food Tube."

In other news this week, Barry from My Virgin Kitchen kicked off a massive baking challenge across Food Tube.

Check out his deleBAKE (like delegate - get it?) video for Caramel Cream Choux Buns and subscribe to a few more Food Tube family channels to see if Felicitas Pizarro, French Guy Cooking, Cook With Amber and The Chiappas take the bait. You can get involved as well:

Not to be outdone by Barry we're off to get our bake on. Make sure you never miss a video - subscribe to Food Tube now.
