Janan was raised in London and educated in Canterbury and Brighton. A card-carrying Japanophile, ostentatious eyelash addict and aesthetics junkie, she ran off to Tokyo to live with the bright lights, cherry blossoms and pretty things for a couple of years. Her Polish heritage and experience in Japan make my something of a Japanese/Eastern European foodie. Janan is incredibly passionate about culture, travel, food, literature, music, psychology, Japan (clearly) and utterly adores London. Having worked as a flight attendant, teacher, and reluctant administrator, she currently writes for Londonist, has a radio show on Hoxton FM and is also training to be a singer and counsellor.
