Johan Kugelberg is a writer/editor who runs the Boo-Hooray exhibit space in New York City.

His books include 'The Velvet Underground - New York Art', 'Beauty is in the Street', 'Born in the Bronx', 'Brad Pitt's Dog' and Punk - An Aesthetic' (September 2012). He has staged exhibitions in England, Sweden, Japan, France, Holland and the USA.

He has taught at Yale and Cornell, and implemented the Cornell hip-hop history archive and the Cornell punk archive, and the Ira Cohen archive and Paris May 1968 archive for Yale University.
