Jon Taylor is currently Climate Change Programme Manager at WWF-UK, where he looks after a wide range of climate change work including managing climate change projects around the WWF Global Network and leading on understanding and communicating the latest climate science. He has a Bachelors degree in Biology and Masters degrees in Bio-computing and Environmental and Development Policy. Before joining WWF in 2008, Jon spent many years as a conservation and sustainable development specialist, working on development and conservation projects in Africa and Asia and in the EU. He has also, at various times, been a schoolteacher and a lion keeper.

After several months of relative quiet there seems to be a flurry of activity in the UK climate conversation around 'geo-engineering'. Most recently there was a piece in the Sunday Times that labels geo-engineering "a bad idea whose time has come".
