Having always been a fan of words on a page since he started writing/performing poetry in 2002, Kamran has always remained loyal to artful craft of creative writing. His insight into improving and perfecting his skillset has been admirable and impeccable. He has worked tirelessly hard to take on advice and network with other like-minded journalists to make his writing of a higher quality.

Kamran cut his rug in the journalism world by working as a Music Feature Writer at local entertainment newspaper The Guestlist Network, a reviews writer at urban music website SoulCulture, and as a Poetry Editor/Interviewer at online lifestyle magazine Nupe. This training and experience allowed him to work on his articles in terms of layout, ideas, content and getting his work out there to the masses.

In 2012, all of this exposure to his writing along with Kamran's knack for sourcing out opportunities coupled with help from his networked contacts enabled him to obtain freelance scoops writing for MTV UK's urban blog The Wrap Up, internet newspaper Huffington Post UK, and urban music awards staple MOBO Awards. As an active first-time father, he also writes about his fatherhood experiences for fatherhood blog Daddy Diaries and website DadzClub.

Kamran has also elevated his profile and has been interviewed on TV and Radio for OHTV, Premier Gospel Radio, and Reprezent Radio. He regularly writes opinion pieces on issues that affect him, and his most high profile piece about multiculturalism and his mixed-heritage for The Voice, which is the UK's biggest ethnic national newspaper.
